My journey with yoga began many years ago, starting with a few poses that were described in my Girl Scout handbook back in the 80’s. In high school, I discovered a few more poses through magazine articles, and in college I purchased my first Wai Lana yoga video.
When I became pregnant with my son in 2012, I began taking regular pre-natal yoga classes at Destination Maternity in San Antonio, and I fell in love with the practice. I found that yoga helped me not only to cope with, but also helped immensely through the labor and delivery process.
I graduated from teacher training in the Spring of 2015, and have been teaching yoga ever since. Beginners are my specialty – and I love introducing yoga newbies to the practice and hearing my student’s stories. I would be honored to guide you on your personal yoga journey. To take one of my classes, you can sign up for Yoga 101 at the Yoga Den – every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6pm. I’m also offering on-location private and group sessions in the San Antonio area – email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at (210) 303-1107 for details and pricing.
